New York Fashion Academy
The New York Fashion Academy (NYFA) teaches high fashion in the educational tradition of the Traphagen School of Fashion. NYFA (1978-2018) was founded by Terry Horlamus, a professionally trained designer and honors graduate of Traphagen. Her goal is to create an environment in which students could learn about New York-style high fashion, and master the skills necessary for success within the industry. I attended the 15 month Mastery of Apparel design program from 2006-2007.
