PAPR Hoods

In the early days of the Covid pandemic lockdown BARN (the Bainbridge Artisan Resource Network) reached out to local businesses (including my employer Blackmouth Design) for help fabricating 3M PAPR (Powered Air-Purifying Respirator) Hoods for under-supplied area hospitals using readily available, off the shelf hardware store materials.

Using Tyvek House wrap, rubber shower pan membranes and 3d printed parts I produced hundreds of PAPR hoods for use by medical staff treating Covid patients in the Spring of 2020.
